DEAD STREETS COMICS
Dead Streets Comics is an independent comic imprint from Michael Coombs (Mike GLC), a UK rapper and artist bringing his storytelling from music to the page.
Original stories rooted in lived experience—exploring friendship, loyalty, ambition and the consequences of our choices. Written and illustrated by Mike GLC, with authentic voices and a distinctly London perspective.
Our debut comic, THE GROW, follows four young friends watching over a North London grow house. With the final harvest approaching and one of them preparing to leave for university, a robbery puts their friendship—and their futures—to the test.
